Aibetsu Town produces rice, mushrooms and livestock, as well as field crops such as vegetables and buckwheat. It is the biggest producer of mushrooms in Hokkaido and known as the town of mushrooms. It aims to become a town that combines leisure with agriculture through the processing and sales of agricultural and livestock products and the production of mushrooms.
The Ishikari River runs through the town, and there is a park golf course on the right bank and an RV camping site on the left bank. You can refresh your body and spirit in the magnificent nature.
In the secluded Kyowa Onsen hot spring, you can enjoy healthy dishes made with plentiful mushrooms and mountain vegetables, such as the Full-Course Mushroom Meal.
